The comedian we currently know as Johnny Lever. His real name is John Rao Prakash Rao Janumala. He was born on August 14, 1957. And his place of birth is Kanigiri, District Prakasam, State of Andhra Pradesh (India). Johnny Lever comes from a Telugu Christian family. After coming to Mumbai, Johnny Dharavi (Kings Circle Area) settled in Mumbai.

His father's name is Prakash Rao Janumala and mother's name is Karunamma Janumala. Johnny is the eldest of five siblings (three sisters and two brothers). Till 7th standard, Johnny Lever studied in Andhra Educational Society English High School. But due to financial crisis in the family, he could not continue his further education in that school. In the coming time, he quit his studies and started doing odd jobs to help the family.

Apart from this, he would also entertain people by dancing to the songs of Hindi films so that his products could be sold and could take some money home. Johnny Lever is married to Sujata. And these couple have two children. Of which the son's name is Jesse and the daughter's name is Jamie. Johnny's daughter Jamie is currently working as a stand up comedian. In earlier times, Johnny Lever's son had Throaht Tumor "/ throat cancer". Johnny was badly broken due to this incident. He resorted to the prayer of God.

Due to the condition of the son, he also stopped working in the film for some time and spent the whole time in his care. After about 10 days, his son was again taken for a test.
